The Kentucky Association of Blood Banks is a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. |
Our purpose is to:
- To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and materials and the dissemination of information relating to blood banking and its technical methodology and administrative problems by education, publicity and research.
- To make available through blood banks, whole blood and its derivatives for the alleviation of suffering and the saving of lives.
- To foster and plan for cooperation in times of disaster.
- To keep currently aware of and to encourage high standards of service.
- To foster, promote, aid and encourage additional activities that may extend the best possible blood banking service throughout the state.
